Paper Mill Boiler

Boiler is the heart of paper mill production, the boiler used in paper mill usually is steam boilers. The role of these boilers is to produce high-temperature steam through the conversion of energy by the use of coal or other fuels, then the steam is transported to the production workshop to achieve the process purposes of cooking, drying and so on.

Boiler Using In Paper Industry

1. Boilers produce the steam is used to cook wood chips (along with the cooking chemicals). Steam is sent to dryer cans or Yankee dryer to remove the water in the paper sheet that the drainage, vacuum, and mechanical press section of paper machine can’t achieve. The steam from the boilers is also used throughout the paper mill in heat exchangers, steam-traced piping, stock chests, etc.

2. Produce power is the boiler most obvious using. Power can be produced by combustion of bark, black liquor (Kraft), and fuel oil, among others. The electricity produced in paper mill reduces costs associated with the paper mill large electrical demand and potentially increases reliability vs using outside power (outages, storms, etc.).
