5 Warning Signs Your Paper Machine Doctor Blades Are Hurting Your Bottom Line

Doctor blades are out of sight and often out of mind—until a streak appears across a full reel of finished paper, or a Yankee doctor fails and forces an unplanned shutdown. 1. Streaks or lines running machine-direction on the sheet often start at the doctor blade.
